Common issues and their solutions
Charging station not powering on
- Check that the charging station is properly connected to power.
- Verify that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped.
- Ensure the emergency stop button (if equipped) is not engaged.
- Check for any visible damage to the power cable.
- If the station has a display, look for error codes that might indicate the issue.
- Try resetting the charging station by disconnecting power for 30 seconds, then reconnecting.

Vehicle not charging when connected
- Check that the charging cable is securely connected to both the vehicle and the charging station.
- Verify that the charging station is powered on and operational (green status light).
- Ensure your vehicle is set to accept charging (check vehicle settings).
- Try using a different charging cable if available.
- Check if charging is scheduled for a later time in either the vehicle or the WeDriveSolar app.
- Restart the charging process by disconnecting and reconnecting the cable.

App not connecting to charging station
- Ensure your smartphone has an active internet connection.
- Verify that the charging station is powered on and connected to the internet.
- Check that you're using the latest version of the WeDriveSolar app.
- Try logging out of the app and logging back in.
- Restart your smartphone and try connecting again.
- If your charging station uses Wi-Fi, verify that it's connected to your network.

Vehicle-to-Grid functionality not working
- Verify that your vehicle supports bidirectional charging.
- Check that VtG functionality is enabled in the WeDriveSolar app settings.
- Ensure your utility provider has approved your system for bidirectional power flow.
- Verify that the minimum battery level setting isn't preventing discharge.
- Check for any firmware updates for your charging station.
- Ensure your vehicle's settings allow for power export (varies by manufacturer).

Error codes on charging station display
Common error codes and their meanings:
- E01: Communication error - Check internet connection and restart the station.
- E02: Overcurrent protection - Disconnect vehicle and try again after 5 minutes.
- E03: Ground fault detected - Inspect charging cable for damage.
- E04: Temperature too high - Allow station to cool down.
- E05: Authentication failed - Check user credentials in app.
- E06: Voltage out of range - Contact support, may indicate grid issues.
